Wine Notes

The wine shows berry and rose petal aromas on the nose. The wine is lively on the palate with bright strawberry and tropical fruit characters. The wine pairs well light chicken dishes, seafood dishes, turkey or ham.

Winemakers Notes

The de Villiers family have been making wine in South Africa since 1690. They originally owned land in the Franschoek area and acquired Landskroon in 1874. A longtime pioneer in viticulture and winemaking practices in the Paarl area. Landskroon is regarded by many as one of the best value estate producers in the country. The current cellarmaster, Paul de Villiers V, won the Diners Club South African Winemaker of the Year award in 2000.
