Tasting Notes

Our 2020 Pinot Gris is 100% varietal from the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley. It offers beguiling aromas of jasmine, honeysuckle, mandarin orange, and white peach over a richly textured, beautiful palate. This wine is complex and layered, but nevertheless easy to enjoy on a warm summer day. Drink now for freshness and vibrancy. With time this wine will take on hints of caramel and honey.

 

Winemakers’ Notes

We harvested the grapes on August 17 at 22.9° Brix. The grapes were gently pressed and the wine fermented slowly in stainless steel. The finished wine is crisp and dry, with 14.1% alcohol, pH 3.43 and 6.2 g/L titratable acidity.

 

Food Pairings

Enjoy with a medley of fresh berries and melon, with prosciutto or pancetta to add a little tang. Grilled sausage with bell pepper and onion would also be lovely. Try with a lemon tart.
